At first, I did not truly understand the real meaning of Jesus’ baptism.

For me, Jesus’ baptism was just a ritual.

However, while reading Book 1, ‘HAVE YOU TRULY BEEN BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT?’ and the Bible, I came to understand why our Lord Jesus Christ received baptism from John the Baptist.

I came to understand that Jesus received baptism, which was like the laying on of hands, from John the Baptist, who was the last High Priest of the Old Testament, to take the sins of the world upon Himself, and since the wages of sin is death, Jesus, who took the world’s sins, had to pay the price on the Cross.

Through faith in Jesus’ baptism, His blood shed on the Cross, His death and resurrection, I have now become a righteous person who is clean and holy without sin.

Jesus Christ took all sins of the past, present, and future through His baptism, removed all sins through His blood and death, and made me righteous and holy through His resurrection, making me into light. From now on, I no longer pray prayers of repentance, but rather thank Him for the fact that my sins have been eternally removed.

Before encountering the gospel of water and the Spirit, I thought the Law (commandments) existed for us to obey. When I kept the commandments, I felt strength and happiness, but when I didn’t keep them, I felt sad and disgusted, wanting to stop everything.

I didn’t know that I was a complete mass of sin who couldn’t keep any of God’s commandments. Previously, because I only believed in Jesus’ blood, it wasn’t complete, and I was missing the two testimonies of water and the Spirit. Now I have the right faith by believing in the gospel of the water, the blood, and the Spirit. (1 John 5:6)
